PAC Board Meeting Minutes 11.10.2022


 Board members in attendance: Tamara Potruch (chair), Korrin Fyall (co-chair), Roxie Anderson (treasurer), Dan Standke (co-treasurer), Kimberly Felton (secretary), Ashley Weston (co-secretary)


Tamara called meeting to order at 6:42pm.

Tamara reviewed minutes of Oct 20, 2022, meeting. Minutes approved.


Treasury report (Roxie): $20,916.02 in bank account
Bank error fixed so that Roxie is again a signer at the bank.
Destiny software – no update at this time.
Wreath payment from one family went to the school; the school has written a check to PAC.

Wreath updates: Tawni Carr is the main support. She will have the wreath order forms, contact numbers, supplies. $2,275 profit from sales.

  • Delivery at 9am at the school. Dan will be at school to pay Al’s. 

  • Six extra wreaths available for purchase. Roxie will take extra wreaths & try to sell them. Cash, check, and PayPal are options for anyone who wants to buy an extra wreath that morning.

  • Two extra crosses; will gift to Sherwood Friends Church. Roxie will take cost of gift crosses out of profits of wreath sale.

MudPuddles: Put us on the list for Shop for Your School Fundraiser.

PAC Meetings/Cleaning crew: What is protocol for alerting church office of our events, so that cleaning crew is aware that we are having an event? Tamara waiting for clarification from school office about who gives PAC events to cleaning crew.

Winter Festival (Korrin): Ms. Raboli did not want another harvest festival. No activity stations. Something warm & cozy, low key. Maybe change “festival” to “gathering.” Or call it “Cozy Winter Evening.” Korrin will run agenda by Ms. Raboli. $500 budget.

  • Long table with self-service food, drinks.

  • Round tables with games, coloring pages

  • Sing-along

  • Snowball fight

  • long table for making snowflakes & snowmen

  • photo booth

4th Grade hosting luncheon in January: Collect donations in December. Use Thursday newsletter to request volunteers for luncheon setup.

Student lunches: Christy Sturm & Sadie Peterson working together; adding Kimberly Felton to the group. Challenge is finding restaurants that have reasonably-priced meals, and will deliver. Or a parent needs to pick up lunches.

Candy fundraiser: Not yet turned in to Wilson Ortho.  Note: The candy monsters have been secured for storage at the Felton residence, until needed next year.

Pumpkin Contest: MudPuddles gift cards delivered to winners.

DNO Nov 16-18: Spaghetti Factory – pickup or delivery only.

Bottle & Can Drive: 11/17/22
