Chair.
The primary duty of the Chair shall be to oversee the business and affairs of the PAC and to coordinate PAC activities with the other Officers, special committees/chairpersons, and the Director of Sherwood Charter School. The Chairperson(s) will set the agenda and preside over all regular and special meetings. The Chairperson(s) shall in general perform all duties incident to the office of the Chairperson and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him/her by vote of the Members.
Co-Chair.
Co-Chair.
The Co-chair shall assist the Chairperson in his/her duties of the Chairperson in his/her absence or inability to serve
Secretary.
The Secretary shall keep the minutes of all regular and special meetings; insure that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these Bylaws; be custodian of the records of the PAC, including the Bylaws, agendas, meeting minutes and correspondence; conduct PAC-related correspondence as requested by the Chairperson(s) and, in general, perform all duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the Chairperson(s) or by vote of the Members.
Co-Secretary.
The Co-Secretary shall perform duties of the Secretary when the Secretary is absent.
Treasurer.
Treasurer.
The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of and be responsible for all monies of the PAC; receive and give receipts for monies due and payable to the PAC; and deposit all such monies in the name of the PAC in such banks or other depositories as shall be selected in accordance with these Bylaws. He/She shall keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures, and shall pay out funds as authorized by the PAC. At the first regular meeting of the year the treasurer will present a budget of anticipated revenue and expenses for the year. This budget shall be used to guide the activities of the PAC during the year. Any substantial deviation from the budget must be approved in advance by the organization. The Treasurer shall in general perform all duties incident to the Office of the Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the Chairperson(s) or by vote of the Members.
Assistant Treasurer
The Assistant Treasurer shall assist the Treasurer in executing all responsibilities outlined in Section 5. All activities of the Co-Treasurer shall be delegated by the Treasurer, in the event of the Treasurer’s absence or inability to perform their duties.
