PAC Board Meeting - Sept. 20, 2023

Board members in attendance: Hadar Ferris (chair), Korrin Fyall (co-secretary), Roxie Anderson (co-treasurer)

Hadar called meeting to order at 8:00pm.

Approval of minutes from 4/6/23: Approval of minutes postponed to next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS –

Monsters for Wilson Candy Collection: At Kimberly’s house.

Heart Family Dance: Repeating 50s theme; people already have poodle skirts, and everyone enjoyed the Sock Hop.
New DJ needed; will check with Brian Cracker, last year’s DJ. Are last year’s decorations reusable & available? Date TBD.

Winter Festival Plans: Ms. Raboli mentioned having caroling again with Mrs. DuPriest’s help on music selection. Ms. Raboli
seems in favor of a low-key event; activity stations are too much like the harvest festival. Korrin has the snow balls in the garage
for a snow ball fight at the event.

Fundraisers: We desire to provide more community events, but need fundraisers to support this mission. The library is a separate
fundraiser, supporting only the library. The wreath fundraiser and bottle drop raise enough to cover our expenses and some
community events. But this will not allow us to give much money to the school in a year-end gift.

New fundraiser: gotsneakers.com – PAC receives $7/pair of gently used shoes.

End-of-year gift from 2022/23: In the past, PAC could give $10k to SCS because we ran Kids First; Kids First was replaced by
One Fund, which the school now runs, using proceeds for the school (not PAC). This decreases the amount we can give to the school
as a gift at the end of each school year.

Weekly emails: Hadar will create a PDF attachment, in color, similar to the school's newsletter, to be attached in the weekly
SCS emails.

Spirit Wear: SCS office will take over Spirit Wear next year.

Printing paper: PAC members may a print shop and get reimbursed. If Hadar decides it is easier to print from home, we will reimburse
paper and ink costs.

SCS Board Representative: To be assigned at next PAC board meeting.

Secretary of State due: Annual renewal for the PAC, but bi-annual for the DBA. Our legal name is not Sherwood Charter School
PAC; this is our DBA and only requires a bi-annual renewal. Roxie will handle the renewals and set the treasurer as the authorizing
representative.

Meeting adjourned at 8:41pm.
